Here are some of our favorites:
"Dr. Paul A. Glazer did my surgery about eight years ago in Boston. I am a medical professional. He took my lower back pain away. I will forever be grateful!"
"After living nine months with severe back pain, seeing several medical professionals, being diagnosed with a sacroiliac joint dysfunction, having 10 weeks of chiropractic therapy, and seven weeks of physical therapy, I still could not walk more than 10 feet without being in extreme pain. It was then suggested by a family member that I make an appointment with Dr. Paul Glazer at Spine Specialists of Boston. He reviewed my MRI and X-rays and told me that I had a herniated disc at L5. He explained what procedure would be needed, how it would be done, and how long it would take to recover. Feeling confident and relaxed with Dr. Glazer, I went ahead with the surgery and was able to walk without pain the same day. I continued my walking regimen and in 30 days I was able to walk approximately 25 miles. After 90 days, I am now pain-free. I would refer anyone I know to see Dr. Glazer for back problems. I found the staff in his office and at BIDMC extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly."
"Thank you so much, Dr. Paul Glazer, for the wonderful job you and your team did. I'm very glad you performed surgery for my mild scoliosis. Now my back is very straight. And thank you for getting rid of my back pain. I'm very happy now. I will recommend you to everyone. You and your team are the best!!!"
"I find it difficult to properly communicate how grateful I am to Dr. Paul Glazer for the results of the surgery he performed on me last January. For several years prior, I had progressively painful back problems. I was unable to live a normal life; sleep was virtually impossible. I was referred to Dr. Glazer by a pain specialist. During the surgery, Dr. Glazer found that the deterioration of my lower spine was more serious than previously thought and, following discussion with my wife, proceeded with an entire reconstruction, alleviating the need for a second operation. The recovery was precisely as Dr. Glazer said it would be. Thirty-six hours after the operation, I was able to go home. The pain I experienced prior to the operation was gone, and I have not had a recurrence. Within 2-3 weeks after surgery, I was able to walk normally. By the sixth week, I was feeling and walking better than I had in the preceding years. I was gloriously pain-free – and remain so today. I feel like a new man. Thanks to Dr. Glazer, I am able to return to a productive life. I cannot recommend Dr. Glazer highly enough, and I hope that I may be helpful, in some small way, to leading others to this remarkable surgeon."
“I can't say enough about Dr. Paul A. Glazer. If it wasn't for him, I would probably still be in so much pain. He is a miracle worker. He gave me my life back and I can't thank him enough for that. He has such a great bedside manner. I've never in my life ever met such a caring doctor. One of the things I liked most about him was that you’re not just number; he takes his time with you. He answers all your questions and if you call him, he calls you right back. He truly is the best there is.”
“This doctor is amazing!!!! If you think you need back surgery go to him!!!!”
“Dr. Paul Glazer repaired a failed fusion I had in my neck. I had a horrible experience with another doctor who said I was OK, that the fusion had taken, but I was dying from pain and sick from the titanium plate breaking in my neck and being stuck in my esophagus. Dr. Glazer found the problem, canceled office hours to operate on me, and was just amazing. I was in a car accident after my surgery and when Dr. Glazer was called to the ER, he held my hand in his and his empathy was very real. Great man. Great doctor.”
“I have total confidence in Dr. Paul Glazer. He was highly recommended to me by a friend. Dr. Glazer helped me get back to a normal lifestyle. My sciatica had caused me near-constant pain prior to the surgery. I was in pain sitting, standing, bending, walking, coughing, and sneezing. I also had two prior laminectomies. After the surgery by Dr. Glazer, the pain was gone.”
“Dr. Paul Glazer told me what I need to do to take care of myself, so I did. I’m trying very hard not to mess up his hard work. I am thankful for his time, effort, patience, planning, and expertise. He always says, ‘I’m here if you need me’ and knows just how to take care of his patients, like me.”
“I cannot thank Dr. Paul Glazer enough for what he's done for me. I was in chronic pain for almost three years. Thanks to him, I'm no longer in pain. He takes his time with you; he doesn't care if he has a waiting room full of patients as long as he answers all your questions, that's his main goal. I've never gone into surgery with the confidence in a surgeon that I had with him. What a great experience. I highly recommend him.”
“The best doctor for the spine!”
“Dr. Paul A. Glazer has always been very honest with me about my spinal problems. He is honest about his care before and after surgery. He does not push you to make your choices – the choice is yours if you want the surgery or not. He is very easy to speak with as well. Even easy on your eyes too!”
“After 2 shoulder surgeries and the prospect of facing a third, I consulted Dr. Frederic Gerges, a pain physician at Spine Specialists of Boston. We decided to try PRP injection therapy to the shoulder joint to help reduce the constant pain and inflammation I was dealing with every day. After the first injection, the dull achy pain that I lived with was significantly improved within one week. The results lasted several months until I had a second injection and have been virtually pain-free since. I have not used any Ibuprofen or NSAIDs which I normally could not get through the day without. I am hopeful the will continue to delay my need for surgery.”
